Since I can't in good conscience recommend The Sense of Death as a Valentine's Day gift (if you've read the book, you know why), I'm instead recommending it as the perfect book for a snow day--if the power goes out and you're reading by candlelight, all the better!
Favorable reviews continue to be posted on Amazon, including this one from Laura Tamakoshi: I read this book in one sitting, something I haven't done since reading The Other Boleyn Girl a good while back. ... Thank you, Matty Dalrymple for your compelling characters and story. The Sense of Death is now available not only on Amazon but also at some actual brick-and-mortar stores--if you don't see it, please ask! If they've run out of copies, please ask them to order more!
